Hey I’m Jen! A freelance yoga, retreat and event photographer, and teacher, who has travelled across the UK capturing retreats, yoga teachers and businesses, corporate events and festivals. I love working closely with people through yoga teaching and photography, and the ability to capture the true essence of their personality, teaching style, or brand.

I am passionate about Yoga Photography as, being a yoga teacher myself, it is very close to my heart and is a part of my everyday life. The ability to capture a yoga instructor’s real style of teaching just through a few images is so important for me as, being a student as well, the images a teacher or retreat presents of themselves can speak a thousand words.

As I have progressed into many forms of  photography, it has developed into more of a mindful practice.  Photography allows me to be completely ‘in the moment’ and to capture the present in its rawest form. In partnership with my love for photography is also my passion of working with both children and adults. Yoga and mindfulness have helped me greatly on a personal level, so I fully understand the power and positive influence it can have. Through my work in various educational and home based environments I have witnessed and proved the effectiveness of yoga and mindfulness techniques on individuals and, in particular, on children.  Alongside the physical benefits, it can also aide emotional awareness and understanding, especially for developing children engaging in Kids yoga.  The beauty of Family Yoga is that it also helps foster family connections through shared experience and understanding, which provides a vital opportunity for parents to act mindfully for their children to observe and digest.
